What Imran quotes for

Three categories, each quoted after Imran has seen photos of the actual items. If something does not fit neatly into one of them, send a photo and ask rather than assuming.

Furniture

Sofas and armchairs, wardrobes, cabinets and shelving, tables, chairs and bed frames. Whole pieces, or items you have already taken apart.

Renovation waste

Dismantled carpentry, wooden panels, boards, timber offcuts and similar material left behind after renovation or reinstatement work.

Old or broken glass

Panels, shower screens, window panes or mirrors that have been taken down or have broken. Say how the glass is currently stored so it can be handled safely.

What to include in your enquiry

A quotation depends on what the items are, how many there are and how they get from your unit to the vehicle. The list below is the same checklist that the WhatsApp button prepares for you.

About the items

One clear photo of each item, or of the whole pile
The approximate size of the largest pieces; a tape measure or a person in the photo is enough for scale
Whether items are already dismantled, or need dismantling before they can leave the unit
For glass: how many pieces, roughly how big, and whether it is loose, wrapped, boxed or still in a frame

About the place

Property type and area, for example an HDB flat in Tampines, a condominium, a landed house or an office
Floor level, and whether there is a lift the items will fit into, or stairs only
Where a vehicle can stop and load, and any estate or building rules about moving items
Preferred collection dates or times, and any deadline such as a handover date

What the quotation should settle

Before agreeing, check that the quotation is clear on these points. They are the usual sources of surprises on collection day.

Collection scope: exactly which items are included, so an extra cabinet is not assumed.
Dismantling: whether Imran takes anything apart, or items are expected to be ready to carry.
Access arrangements: lift booking, stair carry, protection of common areas and where the vehicle loads.
Accepted materials: confirmation that each item type on your list can be taken.
Charges: the amount for the agreed list, and what would change it, such as extra items or stairs.
Timing: the agreed collection window and who needs to be present.

Straight answers

Can several items be included in one collection?

Yes. List everything in one message with a photo of each item or of the pile. One quotation then covers the set that Imran confirms, which is simpler than quoting piece by piece.

What if there is no lift, or the item will not fit in the lift?

Say so in the enquiry, with the floor level. Stair carry changes the manpower needed and therefore the quotation. Ask whether a large item can come down whole or should be taken apart first.

Is dismantling included?

Only when it is written into the quotation. Tell Imran whether items are already dismantled. If they are not, ask him to state whether dismantling is included, excluded or charged separately.

How is old or broken glass assessed?

From photos of the glass and how it is stored: loose pieces, wrapped, boxed or still in a frame. Say how many pieces there are and roughly how big, and ask how the glass should be packed or left for safe handling; the answer is part of the quote.

When can the collection be booked?

After the quotation is accepted, agree a collection window that suits your access and Imran's schedule. Include preferred dates in your enquiry so he can plan around them.

Do you take appliances, mattresses or other waste?

The categories Imran quotes for are furniture, renovation waste and old or broken glass. For anything else, send a photo and ask before assuming it can be included.
